Way Around The City using the Subway System on Oct 10, 2015

So this is a new installation of my blog. This part will allow people who use the NYC Subway System know their way around service changes and planned work on the weekends.

October 10, 2015: Your way around the Subway System

No trains between 14 St and South Ferry:

So, the  will continuously be cut back to 14 St due to construction of Cortlandt St station until Oct 19, 2015.

Service operates its normal route between
Van Cortlandt Park - 242 St  and  34 St - Penn Station, then via express from 34 St - Penn Station to 14 St, the last stop for all trains.

NOTE:  and  trains run local from 34 St - Penn Station to Chambers St.

How to get around this?

For customers who want to get off at 28 St, 23 St, and 18 St, transfer at Times Square - 42 St or 14 St to a  or  train.

For customers who want to get off at Christopher St,
Houston St, Canal St, Franklin St and Chambers St, transfer at Times Square - 42 St or 14 St to a  or  train.

NOTE: Customers who use the  train, please be aware that the strip maps inside the train do not show the local stops 28 St,
23 St, 18 St, Christopher St, Houston St, Canal St, and Franklin St. Please watch the displays inside the train for stop information.

For customers who are heading towards South Ferry, use the following ideas below:

Or, take the   or  train to Times Square - 42 St and take the  to Whitehall St.
